Our 2024 ornament is inspired by John Flanagan’s clock, which holds a significant focal point in the Library’s Thomas Jefferson building. Flanagan (1865-1952), an American sculptor and medalist, also designed the George Washington quarter issued in 1932. He accepted the clock commission earlier in his career on October 1, 1894, and completed it seven years later. Brass. Gift boxed. Approx. 2.7" x 2.7”
